At Forest City, our Personal Care home is more than just a place to live. It’s where comfort, independence, and connection thrive. Located just steps from our skilled nursing building, this intimate, homey setting reflects the best of small-town living: familiar faces, caring neighbors, and a strong sense of belonging.
Residents enjoy private or shared accommodations, daily assistance with tasks like dressing, bathing, and medication reminders, and access to engaging activities and social events. With two cozy porches, vibrant resident-tended gardens, and peaceful indoor spaces, such as our large shared living room, it’s easy to feel right at home.
Whether funded through private pay, VA benefits, or long-term care insurance, our Personal Care program supports independence while providing the extra help needed to live each day with dignity and ease. And with access to the full continuum of care on campus, residents and families can feel confident knowing support is always close by.

Our services are designed to support independence with just the right amount of care. Residents receive help with daily routines such as bathing, grooming, mobility, and medication reminders. The setting allows for a blend of personal freedom and professional assistance, striking the perfect balance for those who need a lighter level of support.
We also recognize the importance of staying connected with loved ones and the broader world. The Personal Care maintains its own Facebook page, sharing highlights and snapshots of daily life that bring joy to family members and keep everyone in the loop.
